Daniel was back in familiar territory for a long weekend, August 7-10, to give Jep and Travis the Oath of Office as they commissioned in the Army Reserve and graduated from Auburn University. WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!
We were flown by an organization of pilots that volunteer for veterans. It is the Veterans' Airlift Command. It was a beautiful trip home and we are grateful for the opportunity to meet such wonderful people, avoid airport security, and have such personal care.
Daniel returned to recovery alone as he is doing so well getting around on his own. He is walking without the aid of a cane and perfecting his gait with concentrated therapy and workouts in the gym. His therapist is confident that he will be ready to leave after the first of the year. He is looking forward to learning to jog with the newest prothesis he has been fitted for.

The Norcross Blue Devils website says Daniel will be honored prior to the 7:30 kickoff. At what time should we be in the stands to make sure we don't miss anything?
