Out On Pass

We are out on a weekend pass back at the Mologne House and out of the hospital. The official discharge should take place tomorrow. The bugs Daniel has been battling have real intestinal fortitude! The antibiotics he has been taking for the earlier leg infection has caused an inbalance in his gut with bad bacteria outnumbering good. New antibiotics, boring diet, and lots of water are putting him on the road to recovery.

A great telephone call from his unit in Iraq today turned his day around for the better. He enjoyed talking with his company commander and some of the men from his platoon. His connection with the guys in Iraq is an important one. Thanks for the call guys!!
