Thank you to Rick Malwitz for reporting on the Wounded Warrior Project. We wanted to make one correction to the article in regards to the time that Daniel was in Iraq. He was deployed in October serving until the time he was hit on May 11th. His new assignment as Platoon Leader began just a couple of weeks before he was injured.
