July 4th was enjoyed on the South Lawn of the White House. It was a great spot for the fireworks show and we all enjoyed seeing President and Mrs. Bush waving at us from the balcony with entourage in tow. The event was very special for us with a little added adventure when I got separated from the group (looking for a bathroom) and locked in the White House! Security found me and escorted me outside with our group in no time.
Daniel spent saturday at a nearby mall on the new leg shopping, going to a movie, and eating dinner. It was a long time to be walking but he braved several escalators and stairs in style.
