The docs at Walter Reed are/will review Daniels situation and recommend what surgeries Daniel will need to properly fit his prosthetics. Daniel and his family will make some hard decisions on how much of his left leg and right foot to remove to properly fit the new prosthetics. He realizes the consequences of this decision and is smart and brave enough to put long term health ahead of short term comforts.

As Daniel and his docs make a plan of action in order to gain maximum strength and flexibility for his lower body he is very appreciative of the love and support everyone has shown.

I was wondering if we can send mail to Luckett. A few of my middle school students made him cards.

Luckett - we're all proud of you and know that you will somehow turn this into a positive part of your life. My students ask how you are every day, and their thoughts are with you too.

"...Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!"

You are a true hero to us all. All the guys from Alpha 167 send their thoughts and prayers. -Drive Forward
