Today was a busy day with visitors. Daniel was able to spend time with Trisha Yearwood and Senator John McCain. He continues to improve since finding the infection and was doing Physical Therapy excercises today. The medication fog from surgery was lifted and he enjoyed reading a bit.

Erin Wilbanks Masters, a former basketball player for Norcross High School, stopped with a delicious barbeque lunch for us and the nursing staff making her a huge hit on the ward.

I have been working on getting pictures on the blog. My abilities in that area are shaky, but they should soon be up.

The stories with other parents and soldiers continue to be amazing. Each family faces unique struggles and all are amazed at the outpouring of love from family and friends.
